Mid-America Trucking Show

“How can we give truckers and trucking companies more valuable information?”

We love going to trucking trade shows! Every year, it’s a great opportunity to meet truck drivers, trucking company owners, brokers, shippers, and industry professionals. One of our favorite shows has to be the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Kentucky.

While we were preparing for MATS, we thought, “How can we give truckers and trucking companies more valuable information?” So we decided to host two seminars at the show about what we know best.

Factoring: What Is It and When Is It Right for You?

Jennifer Letson, our Chief Operations Officer, presented a seminar during the show on “Factoring: What Is It and When Is It Right for You?” on Friday, April 1. We get a lot of questions on what we do every day, so it was a great place to explain the benefits, challenges, and opportunities factoring can provide to carriers.

How to Start a Trucking Company

Then, Reghan Orman, Associate General Counsel and head of the Apex Startup Program, presented “How to Start a Trucking Company” on Saturday, April 2. Reghan presented 12 steps (not to be confused with a 12 step program!) that you should follow if you want to start your own trucking company.

There were lots of questions about all the steps involved. Get our free whitepaper, “How to Start a Trucking Company” by filling out the form below.

If you have any more questions about our factoring, startup, or fuel card programs, give us a call at 844-827-4524 and we’ll be happy to help.
