How Apex Celebrates National Truck Driver Appreciation Week

A truck driver’s work can be tough. They spend time away from family and friends, and sometimes don’t get the respect they deserve. Without truck drivers to haul freight, we wouldn’t have the goods and services we need. Think about the things you use and do every day and you’ll quickly find that trucks make it possible. Our friends at ATBS, shared some examples of what could happen if trucks stopped running. Within the first 24 hours, medical supplies would run low, hospitals would run out of syringes and catheters as well as other basic supplies, fuel at service stations would begin to run out, and mail and package delivery services would stop. And that’s just the first day!

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week 2016 is September 11-17. One way we say thank you and show our appreciation for truckers is our annual Apex Client Calendar. Every year, we ask our clients to send us their best truck photos. Then we vote and the top 13 photos with the most votes earn spots in our calendar. The picture with the most votes wins the coveted calendar cover.
